By the 100th anniversary of Alash movement in ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov was held Republican scientific-methodological seminar "Alash ideyasy zhane Tauelsіz Kazakhstan"

The seminar "Alash ideyasy zhane Tauelsіz Kazakhstan" was organized on the initiative of experts of the Department of Eurasian Researches of the Faculty of History ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov, the National Center for Archeology and Source Studies of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Scientific Library "Otyrar".

Participants of the meeting, representatives of Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov, the Institute of Culture and Spiritual Development "Alash", the Institute of History of the State, the Central Council of "Organization of Veterans", teachers and doctoral students together discussed scientific questions of the history of the national movement "Alash", the heritage of the Kazakh national intelligentsia, the meaning ​​of "Alash" in the context of national identity of the Kazakh state.

In his opening speech, Vice Rector of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov on the socio-cultural development Dikhan Kamzabekuly paid special attention to the heritage of the Kazakh intelligentsia. Speakers talked about the idea of ​​Alash movement, how Alash movement influenced on the formation of independent Kazakhstan, Alash importance in the history of individual regions of the country, updating the historical heritage of Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov etc.

Professor G. Kakenova presented a collection of documents "About the rumors and events in Central Asia", according to the results of archaeological researches and source studies.

AIS "Electronic catalog" database to documents on foreign Kazakhstanika, identified during the years of Independence of Kazakhstan presented Danagul Mussina, a spokesman for the National Center for Archeology and Source Studies.

In the lobby of the Science Library in cooperation with the National Center for Archeology and Source Studies was organized an exhibition of books on the subject of the event.

According to the participants, they were able to address the most important and current topics of Alash movement research and its contribution to the formation of statehood of Kazakhstan. The speakers were of great interest among the researchers. The seminar was held at a very high level, and the issues raised by the speakers contributed to the study of many important problems of the history of Alash movement and independent Kazakhstan.
