An exhibition “Желтоқсан алауы” (“December flame”) confined to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan will open in Astana in the Museum of S. Seifullin. This information was given to astana.kz by the Museum.
“The exhibition represents materials, photographs, books, and magazines of December events in 1986. Also exhibition guests can see copies of documents of the Law “On state independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. Kazakhstan announced the independence on December 16, 1991, five years after the December events of 1986”, - they told astana.kz in the Museum.
Besides, the exposition includes materials and personal belongings of main participants of December events. The young generation of the capital will have an opportunity to see and feel those hard events and that thorny way to achieve the independence of Kazakhstan.
Note that the exhibition “Желтоқсан алауы” will be held in S. Seifullin Museum on December 13-14.
