Uzbekali Dzhanibekov, who knew thousands of varieties of Kazakh patterns, participated in the development of real Kazakh costumes.

In 2006, the publishing house "Oner” in Almaty prepared to release the book "Kazak kiіmі" ("Kazakh national costume") which was written by the well-known public figure Uzbekali Dzhanibekov.

According to the director of the publishing house Ashirbek Kopishev, the author handed the manuscript of the work back in the mid-eighties. The work was published about 10 years after and only partially. Today, according to the government order, the book is published in full.

U. Dzhanibekov stood behind the revival of national traditions. In the seventies and eighties of the 20 centuries, he served as a Deputy Minister and the Minister of Culture of the Republic, as well as on other important government posts, he made a great contribution to the revival of traditional culture and religion in Kazakhstan. His name is associated with the work on the study and restoration of monuments of history and culture of the country. He also published the books "Culture of the Kazakh Crafts", "Echo - in the footsteps of legend about the golden lute", "The Caravan of time" and others.
