The activity of the patriots of their country Makhambet Utemisov and Isatai Taimanov has played an important role in the history of the Kazakh people.

The public fund “Issatay-Makhambet” was opened. The purpose of this fund is to promote the creativity and heroic deeds of the glorious sons of the Kazakh land Makhambet and Isatai, reports baq.kz.

According to the director of the fund Temirkhan Eleubaev, the specially created group travels to the villages. Most recently they visited Zhanakalinsk area where they organized the concert from kyuis and terme of Makhambet.

In his speech, the veteran journalist Tikhon Alipkaliev told about the historical significance of the national liberation uprising under the leadership of Isatay and Makhambet; the graduate of Zhanakalinsk district, the winner of national competitions, the dombra player Akilbek Bektasov performed kyuis of Makhambet "Zhayyқ asu", "Қayran Naryn", "Өkіnіsh”. The singers Farhat Orazov and Laura Muhambetzhanova performed the ethnic works of the poet. The concert was attended by the local artists.

The akim of the region Lavr Hauretdinov thanked the members of the fund and performers.

Singers and performers of the kyuis will continue their performances in other areas, such as Karatobinsk and Syrymsk. Furthermore, a few concerts are planned, they will be held in Astana with the participation of famous masters of art.
