On January 25, the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University, in connection with the popularization of the ancient petroglyphs "Tamgali", held an exhibition "The Famous Tamgali of the Independent country." Exactly ten years ago, UNESCO listed the steppe monument «Tamgali» in the World Heritage Site as the largest petroglyph landscape in the Kazakhstan, reports BNews.kz with the reference to the press service of the University.

  The genuine rarities, which were found in the excavations of steppe monument: ceramics, places of worship, were presented at the exhibition.

  The Deputy Director of the State Historical, Cultural and Natural Museum «Tamgali» Almas Sarbasov and the Vice Rector of the educational unit of KazGosZhenPU Adlet Toybaev cut off the ceremonial ribbon of opening of the traveling exhibition.

  "The Kazakh land is full of ancient monuments. Historic Complex "Tamgali" is the cultural heritage of our country; the museum was recognized at UNESCO.
