According to the Director of the National Museum Darkhan Mynbay, preservation and continuity of traditions contribute to spiritual revival of the nation

"The exhibition’s opening is symbolic on the way to the 550th anniversary of Kazakh statehood. It is very important for modern society to preserve and continue ancestors’ traditions. Continuation of art, especially of zergers’ art (jewelry art) should be observed" — the Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted.

"We must support craftsmen. Our goal is to popularize the traditional art. Jewelry art is passed down through the generations. Preservation and continuity of traditions contribute to spiritual revival of the nation", — D. Mynbay considers.

Jewelry made by Serzhan Bashirov, Bakhtiyar Artykbaev, Murat Duysenov, Daulet Imangaliev, and "AMINA JEWELS KAZAKHSTAN" is presented at the exhibition.

"Our Center took the initiative to protect the traditional art of our nation. According to the President, "tradition and culture is a genetic code of a nation". Inspired by this idea we develop such projects", — the Director of the Otbasym National Values Center Sholpan Syzdykova said.

The exhibition will remain in the National Museum until December 25, 2014.
