Members of the Constitutional Council of RK met with youth

Meeting in the Library was devoted to discussion of the special role of the main law of the country in the formation of a legal state and strengthening of constitutionalism principles in society.

The event «Azbuka grazhdanina» («Citizen’s Alphabet») devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the Library of the First President. Members of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, staff of the library of the First President and leaders of the youth organizations and associations of the city took participation in the event. The aim of the event is to organize a dialogue platform for discussion of the role of the Constitution in formation and development of the legal state.

 


«The main mission of the Library of the First President is the popularization of formative-creative ideas and strategic reforms of the First President inside the country and abroad. Today’s meeting in the Library of the First President was devoted to the discussion of the special role of the main law of the country and in formation of the legal state and strengthening of constitutionalism principles in society», — said the moderator of the meeting Zhapsarbay Kuanyshev, Deputy Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan — the Leader of the Nation. 



A member of the Constitutional Council of RK, doctor of Law Sciences Viktor Malinovsky made a report on the theme "The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nazarbayev N.A. — a founder of Kazakhstan’s statehood, the author of the Constitution of 1995». Answering the questions of journalists, he noticed, that the main principles of the Republic of Kazakhstan are reflected in the Constitution: public consent, political stability, patriotism for Kazakhstan, economic development for everybody’s benefit and the list of rights and freedom fully conform to international regulations and requirements. 



"Patriotism for Kazakhstan begins with the Constitution. It is important for young people to read attentively, understand and perceive the main law. We try to explain the actual, real meaning of each word in the Constitution to the young people. Whereas, only professional relation to the main law and faith in it on the basis of true constitutional patriotism can ensure respect for the main law and further movement of our country to the new peaks",-said V.Malinovsky.



 A report of the other member of Constitutional Council of RK — Anar Zhailganova, Candidate of Legal Sciences was on theme: «The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of realization of five institutional reforms of Nazarbayev N.A.» and Amanzhol Nurmagambetov, PhD, professor told about activity of the Constitutional Council on provision of supremacy of the Main Law of the country.
